It's always nice to get a note from you. ya, busy is my name lately. I have two pieces in Sorensen Gallery's show tomorrow night...if you're out and about, come by? I'll be there the latter half...I gotta pop in on some other artists on the way down! (It's 5-8)
(I'm shooting for getting myself up to the Flute festival, if I can...I'll be sure to say hi if I make it.)
I'm glad you got some good advertising value, that always helps. It was really great seeing you too. We will have a booth at the Yosemite Art and Flute festival next month in Oakhurst. I think it is the 26th- 28th. So, wish us luck, hopefully we will get a sale or at least some good advertising value!
VIBE--no sales, but then I don't think it's been advertised as an artists' venue, so the crowd's not ready. However, advertising value? Very good...100 leaflets out for Sorensen Studio, several inquiries on custom tile jobs people have coming up. Main objective was when people see "Art Hop"...they remember where to go :) Lots didn't know where the studio was, so we'll see next Hop!
...it was good to see you both there, was tickled you stopped by!
Good to hear from you. I'm making tiles till they come out my ears and trying to keep up with everything else! (I think you know how this goes.) Congrats on grandbaby coming... what a *nice* thing to look forward to.
It was great meeting you and Lyndon! I really enjoyed our conversation and getting to know more about both of you. I'll look forward to seeing you at future events (and I'll keep visiting here to see what's newest!).
really cool picture!
I want to invite you out for a great night of music with my band "The Patrick Contreras Band" at that Crossroads(NW corner of Cedar and Shields) this Saturday Aug.9. Doors open at 9pm. If you've never heard us think if Jimi Hendrix and Santana played the violin and went to india! hehe. Look forward to seeing you there! - Patrick Contreras

LOL! You're right Janna! I still put "click here" on my web pages. They are by no means as sophisticated as your husband's work, but they do the job. I also put a click here if you don't see frames because sometimes internet searches will just turn up the page only and not the whole shebang. Of course, it's easy to figure that out by the URL, but some people might not go through the trouble to get to the rest of the site.
Janna, I was impressed by just your thumbnails until I realized that was what they were and then looked at each painting in full and now I'm even more impressed. You have an amazing ability to capture moments of time that strike the heart.
Hello Janna, Thank you for your online friendship here through Fresno Arts Council's great interactive site - Your "Winter Dawn" is really beautiful and just what we need to see to stay cool in Fresno's summer heat - - hope that you will be interested in some of the opera projects going on about town - We look forward to all of your updates, comments, and messages - COA
Thanks for the nice comments concerning 'Green Apples.' I paint allot of still lifes and portraits. As you know, painting require allot of discipline and dedication. I see that you are new to the site. Welcome aboard. It's always good to meet new artist.
Also, I just got through visting your site. Wow!!! Beautiful portrait
work. I can see that you enjoy celebrity portrait work. I hope you enjoy the community. It's good to know that artist has a forum for expression. Thanks again Janna. I love your work.
Hi! just wanted to say I'm excited about being a part of this community. I grew up in Louisiana watching my Dad paint on Jackson Square in New Orleans, and develop a bit of his talent. I love working in pastels that is my favorite medium. Until next time.
