The Pink Show is coming. The fifth annual art show instilling awareness of breast cancer and raising money to aid local organizations is coming back to Fresno in October. October is BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH.
The art is to incorporate the color pink in reference of breast cancer, the paintings will be displayed through the month of October at the Sorensen Studio.

Born 1853, the son of a pastor, was highly emotional and lacked self-confidence, splashes of color was his chief symbol of expression. Before deciding to become an artist, he had had two unhappy romances, worked unsuccessfully as a clerk in a bookstore and was dismissed as a preacher for overzealousness.
