Changing our prices!

We here at the Peppertree Gallery have realized that most people don't like having to do some kind of math problem to figure out home much it will cost to rent space at a gallery. That's why we've decided to change our rates! July 1st 2009 it will only cost $20 or 20% commission for any piece regardless of size or medium. The show will run for an entire month and we'll provide a complimentary reception during the second art hop. If your interested in showing or have any questions be sure to… Continue

I can paint again!

It's been four long months but I can finally paint again!
Wow, I feel like I've been reborn!
You can't (oh well, artists who see this WILL know) know how painful it is not to be able to drown yourself in those delicious colors! I am able to stand long enough now and my hands have regained stregnth.
I hear from others who have gone thru a bad illness that it will all take a while to regain everything, but ,Thank you God, I can paint again!!

I'm in need of your help!

I'm interested in assembling a group of members of the writer's group, except for Sin, to discuss an issue about my latest book, Purple Hat Swims California's Highest Lakes! If you are interested, please contact me at I would want you to read a brief email from me, and then two 1 page samples of my writing, and tell me which of the two samples you like the best, and why. This should take no more than 15 minutes. Thanks alot! Purple Hat

Quick Take your Clothes off ...

Artist Joke: An artist had been working on a nude portrait for a long time, posing for him was beautiful voluptuous Redhead . Every day, he was up early and worked late - bringing perfection with every stroke of his paint brush. As each day passed, he gained a better understanding of the female body and was able to really make his paintings shine. After a month, the artist had become very weary from this non-stop effort and decided to take it easy for the day. Since his model had already… Continue

The Importance of the Arts

Here's a link to the pdf transcript of Josh Groban's testimony to the Senate about how the ARTS have given him refuge - not an escape - especially during troubled times.

Could you share your stories on a local level so we could show our city councilors and county supervisors how important and vital it is in having a thriving local Arts and Culture.

Creation got a Love It >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

* ** *** Creation surrounds us. We are caught up in something bigger than ourselves. Like a captivating masterpiece that holds us spellbound by its beauty, the cosmos, as our home, should make us want to take our shoes off and stay awhile. Of all life forces that animate mother earth, we are the most disrespectful and destructive. It shouldn't be this way ............. but it is. Lets change Lets live in harmony Lets protect the integrity of our environment Lets return to the garden before its… Continue
