I have been wrapped up in the creation of art close to twenty years. My use of acrylics and oils has pushed my aesthetics in many directions, all of which I am proud of. This past year I have found my love for manipulating my own original photos to express my firmness, yet keeping my vernal style. My work has been shown at Nihon Gallery in Fresno, California, as well as several local businesses. My work is currently at the Iron Bird Lofts, and this November 2011 my work will be displayed at Studio 74 Gallery in Fresno, and in February of 2012, I will be displaying at the Saroyan Theatre for a concert by the Fresno Philaharmonic.
The main goal in sight is one day opening my own gallery, where I can not only showcase my work, but also the work of other emerging artists, and also have classes held for the develop mentally disabled, elderly and anyone who is interested in the creation of art in any medium.
I primarily work in photography manipulation, but a large chunk of my work is my paintings. I feel I get more satisfaction from my paintings. A great deal of my work is non-objective or abstract, I do enjoy painting in a more traditional style on the occasion.
