"The Kaweah Land and Arts Festival is a three-day arts festival that will bring our region's diverse citizenry together to learn about and engage with the natural and cultural virtues of the Kaweah watershed. From Friday, November 6, 2009 through Sunday, November 8, 2009, there will be a series of free storytelling events told through a variety of artistic formats—visual art, poetry, prose, song, folklore, history and music.
Art and nature make excellent companions and we feel that this festival can strengthen our community's appreciation of both."
