Event Description

June 4, 7:30pm - 9:30pm. $8 for FFS members, $10 general, at the door only

Fiddling, singing, clogging–at the same time! A banjo concert, autoharp par excellence and a repertoire of American folk songs that you will find fresh and authentic.
Multi-instrumentalist and singer Evo Bluestein brings to his music a rich legacy of American folk tradition, brilliant interpretation and original composition. Exposed to many important American bearers of folk tradition from birth, Evo draws on a wealth of musical and cultural experiences to present a show you will not soon forget.

Considered one of this country's most accomplished Appalachian-style autoharpists, Bluestein is equally known as a performer and teacher of oldtime fiddle, button accordion, guitar and banjo. His repertoire includes songs derived from Appalachian, Cajun, zydeco, blues and other styles of music.

The Brick Wall is the newest venue for the Fresno Folklore Society. Intimate Seating, capacity 60 persons only.
Fresno CA 93726
The Brick Wall is accessed through the FFS office doorway at 2003 N. Van Ness Blvd.
