It's been quite a year for me as an artist. Goals set and met and reset, shows hung, pieces completed, my portfolio finally in a book... and the list goes on. Hanging Nudes in November was a great experience... so much wonderful art to work with, and a great large space. This was my 2nd year hanging the show... hopefully I'll keep doing it. I'm really getting excited now! Saturday we'll be accepting entries at Chris Sorensen's for the 6th annual Nudes in November. I've heard from several out of town artists who are bringing work, from as far away as Ventura! This is going to be a great show, and I feel the anticipation building... I hope we have enough wall space. And then there's the juroring.... it's so hard to tell artists that their work wasn't accepted, even though they paid a $20 entry fee. It's almost time... October is ending...and Nudes in November is almost here. I'm part of the Chris Sorensen Studio, and this is my second year curating the Nudes show. It's really exciting! One of my favorite parts is when artists bring in their work (this year it's on the 25th). Seeing each artists impression of the human figure is inspiring.
