Comment by Megan Bohigian on March 25, 2009 at 5:32pm - My student, Bounrod Xiong, placed in the top 5 in the state of California in the 2009 Poetry Out Loud competition, sponsored by the NEA, the California Arts Council, and our local Fresno Arts Council. Another student of mine, Sharon Rogers, took 2nd place in Fresno County. My partner in crime, Paula Fansler, coached them too.
