Local Social Network for the Arts Community in Central Valley

If you want to sell art two things matter "location, location, location," and exposure... oops that's four, oh well. Showing in NY, San Francisco, Chicago, Santa Fe or Scottsdale do not qualify as location but some locations (Galleries) in these cities do. A very select and talented few make it in "these" locations. Therefore the other option "exposure" is your best bet, if enough people see your stuff you'll find buyers and the more exposure you have the more sells you'll make. The biggest obstacle to making sells is that most artists "suck" as business people and don't get enough exposure. Try ripping your clothes off and strolling downtown butt naked during the lunch hour then tell me how much attention you get? That's exposure, exposure attracts attention ... If you want to sell art bare your art ass to the world and do it often!

Dear women Artists,
"Bare your art ass" is just a metaphor ... but if you want to take it literally I'll be downtown with my camera at noon ... we can call it "local artists moon at noon" you'll be famous!

My art ass is small so I'm not going to get enough exposure then. Ha ha!
