My piece, "Une' Reflexion" will be on display February 19, 2010 at the Art Show 2010 - "Yearning To Be Free" (and space permitting, the show will be on display possibly through February 26.)
This piece is representative of my "reflection" on my own experience with domestic violence in a previous marriage.
The University of San Francisco School of Law's chapter of the Equal Justice Society proudly presents the 6th Annual Creative Justice Art Show. The show is entitled "Yearning To Be Free," and seeks to raise awareness about domestic violence in general, but also to seek awareness to the huddled masses in the immigrant world who endure domestic violence in silence.
Donations during the show will go to La Casa De Las Madres, a local domestic violence shelter in the Bay area.
