One More Time

Playing the blues is a great release. I am so grateful to my mentors, teachers and musical inspirations like BB King, Albert King, Clapton, Irving Berlin, Hoagy Carmichael, Mancini, Jerry Goldsmith, Bird, Coltrane, Mingus, Joni Mitchell and all.
My wife is six years into a fight against ovarian cancer. This tune started with a scat vocal over a guitar and the intention to write a lyric.
All I have come up with is a refrain: This is the last blues, my last blues for you. Come on, baby, say it: "One More Time".
I'm not sure what it means. Does it mean: keep on fighting for your life? Or: go ahead die and reincarnate? Is it both?
The feeling I needed to express goes well beyond the carrying capacity of words so I just played my guitar.
