Local Social Network for the Arts Community in Central Valley

In response to all the wonderful prayers, thoughts and good wishes I wanted to thank all of you and explain what happened. I felt ill Monday, thought it was the flu, and Tuesday I was in the ICU with pneumonia and yes it happened that fast. They put me in a coma for a month. I don't know why they do those things but it saved my life. I returned home after escaping the hospital and am now recovering slowly at home relearning how to breath, walk, talk and enjoy life. I am tethered to oxygen and limited in what I can do.
One Never know why GOD does these things but I cetainly have been blessed with kind and giving friends. The art community is one of the most caring and loving bunch of people I have ever known.
Thank you for all thoughts and prayers and stay in touch.

Oh, Linda. Such good news! We will continue prayers for your continued recovery! Do take it easy and listen to the caregivers! My, it really makes one think when something can take over our lives that fast. Good thing God isn't through with you yet. ;-)
God bless, Kathy

Linda, it was wonderful to get your call today. I could not believe my ears when I answered the phone and you said hello to me. You are such an amazing woman. I always knew that, I knew it the day I first met you, I will not forget that. You took me under your wing, you counseled me and even told me the truth, sometimes I did not want to hear it, but you did. As you know, I tend to get off track, alot, but you have no problem explaining, in your gentle way, the way it is. I love you so much. And Norm too. I remember the dreadful summer day, I had the brown bag in hand, and you both worried so much for me. Thank you, you know what you did for me. You have a way of setting me straight. I only wish I could be so important to you, and want to do whatever you need me to help get you back on track. It is a different track then mine was, but I will do my best to assistant coach you. Norm and your own family are the head guys! I know. I can't wait to sit in the back yard with you and enjoy the beauty, talk our girl talk and just be together. The tears we shared in the hospital, only told me that our bond did not leave when I chose to head on my own road, and I am so very thankful. God bless you, LInda. With so much love, Cynthia
