I guess everyone realizes that this is a damn cold winter. I know how much it means to be warm. I visited some of my friends at their homes a few days ago. They agreed with me, it is really cold. I asked Reggie what he is doing to stay warm. He said, I crawl under all my blankets. "Once I get positioned just right and have the pile of blankets on me, then it is not too bad. It is cold though". I know Reggie was down playing it for my heart, but you know what, it is really cold. I am posting a few pics of Reggie just outside his home. If anyone would like to donate flashlights, socks, hats, blankets and Christmas candy to the emcampments, that would be greatly appreciated.
Encampment 1.The act of pitching tents or forming huts, as by an army or traveling company, for temporary lodging or rest. 2.The place where an army or a company is encamped; a camp; tents pitched or huts erected for temporary lodgings.
Remember, these emcampments are in YOUR community. These photographs were taken in FRESNO. Yep, Fresno. Just imagine, but it seems so hard to imagine. Human beings living like this in OUR community. What a sad world we live in. And you wonder why I smile when the pain comes? What are the options when our own community members are forced to sleep in tents under a bridge? TOGETHER, WE CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
A little information about me and my daddy.
