Local Social Network for the Arts Community in Central Valley

Good Evening!

I am the social director for Harlan Ranch, a master planned community in Clovis. As part of trying to advertise events not only at Harlan Ranch, I also do a once a month email to all of our homeowners that highlights events happening around the Fresno and Clovis area. If anyone would like to add anything to the calendar that will go out to roughly 500+ homeowners, developers, contractors and home sellers, in the Fresno Area, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Looking forward to hearing from all the talented people in the area!

Thank You,

Travis Hauert

Hi Travis
I would be thrilled to reach out to your community and participate in some of your events. It sounds exciting! I am eagerly awaiting details when you have them. You want fine art, correct, not crafts and such?
The Fall Cornucopia is from 2 to 6. I forgot to mention that.
Another exciting event coming up is The 9th annual Artworks Show at Northwest Church on Sept 20 (Barstow and West in Fresno). This great show has over 60 fine artists!!
More to come Travis....and if you need any assistance with your show I would be happy to be of help in any way I can.
Have you heard about the San Joaquin River Conservatory and Trust at Hallowells 'Ranch..and their project 'Canoes Around Town'? These are canoes painted in a variety of subjects and styles ....they will be auctioned off to raise money for the River after they are displayed in the Tower early Sept.
I will be waiting to hear more...and if you need to speak with me,call at 227-0070. I will be here ...painting (what else?)

Hello Travis,

Please do share FresnoArts as an arts events calendar for your community as well. You could grab the many posted events here... Also, if you have art shows coming up, please do use the forum (under "Call to Artists") to look for artists participants. And of course, do share the date/time of your art show/wine tasting by posting it on our Events Calendar using the category "Community and Special" events.

Linda, please feel free to email me anything and everything. I really want to give our residents options and things to do. The Fall Wine Cornucopia sounds very interesting... Oct. 25th, I am going to mark that on my calendar so I can go. Just to let you know, I am going to start doing art shows and wine tastings out here in our community center, so this may be something of interest to you in the upcoming future!

Thanks Again Linda!

Hi Travis
Awwww you can't mean just us ordinary artists, do you? If you do, I have a couple of events for you . Please go to to see my work. I have also done the poster for Shakespeare in the Park at Woodward in 2006 if you know of/remember it. .
The first event is a One Woman show (Arthop night Sept 4) at the Javawava Neighborhood Cafe (across from Fresno High School)...refreshments ,music and meeting and talking with the artist.
The second event is the Fall Wine Cornucopia at Chuckchansi Stadium October 25, 2008. It is put on by the Central California Winegrowers (and I just won the poster contest to promote it!!!!!!!!!!!!) and it is loaded with great art, good food, a huge variety of wines and great music. There will be 40+ fine artists of every kind...and it's quite an event.
Still want more? I think by now you may be flooded with interested folk.........but if you need more events I have a calendar that reaches to Febuary 2009.
Let me know if you are interested? I would love to follow the thread you are offering......
thank you for your time,
Linda Lloyd Pitts
