An abstract from the story “Personal Projections” by Jayseth Geberman
published in the magazine “Mercator’s World” March/April 1997
Several years ago I was watching a children’s television show with my nephew, who was about a year and a half old at the time.
On the blackened screen appeared an animated outline of Africa. The outline then changed shape several times to form an outline of a lion, an elephant, rhinoceros, and then back to the African continent – each time…

A cute little girl
hair red as fire
glasses so thick
books her desire
she read in her class
she read books at her home
of life and adventure
her imagination would roam
she loved to turn pages
and bookmark her spot
for food and playtime
were bothersome lots
one day while visiting
the land by the sea
she spotted a tree
as grande as can be
a mighty old oak
branches silent and…

My brother Eric and I play mostly traditional Irish music (there are some samples of us on his page as well as mine), and we are looking for a couple venues or whateva to play at... we can also play music that's a little more 'mainstream' if that suits anyone who is interested. Does anyone know a few places that are looking for live music?

Just a heads up.... I no longer have my own internet access from home and have to get rides to other places to get online. But I will try to log on a couple times a week.
So if you leave a comment for me and I do not respond right away.... don't take it personal! However, if you really need to reach me... send a message via the email option which I will be less likely to miss when I do log on.
Thank you! and Thanks for all your support!

We will be playing three sets of Celtic music and song. Our group features fiddle, hammered dulcimer, whistle, harp and keyboard and vocals. It should be a fun evening. People that have heard us usually rave about the music so please come on down and give us a listen.

Hello friends. I found my dream job a few weeks ago. Im now working for Pamela Leeds Photography in Fresno. she specializes in wedding photography as well as commercial work.
Luckily I have a couple of friends from Gamels that work there and were able to get me hired on as an assistant photographer. Its a great start to something that might work out to a dream career!
Keep an eye out for me!

As we all might know, art shows don't always go the way we want them to. The
FOOT FETISH II show was not very well attended but on the positive side of things, everyone worked really hard. The BBQ was delicious and the entertainment was great (Lance Canales, True Blue, and Jon Artz performed), and those of us who did participate had fun. We even had Big Foot running around the ballroom. Saundra King gave tours of her lofts. The art was really cool, the dancers were hot and when it was all…
