This is a juried exhibition and the guidelines are as follows

Gallery hours Monday -Friday 9am-4pm

Artworks is preparing for it's 10th Annual Show and Sale on September 25th. This popular Annual Show is one of the best loved and oldest Art Shows in Fresno. vincent van gogh and his poison
Vincent Van Gogh was a frequent consumer of Absynthe. This apparently had a profound influence on his preception of the world. I wonder if it affected his motor skills at all.
I have also learned, through the official biographical website (just type in Vincent Van Gogh into Google and it will pop up) that he most likely had bipolar disorder, a major contributing factor to his self-mutilation and suicide attempts.

Julia On The Grave
I painted this portrait for a friend I've known since middle school. He found me on facebook and liked my artwork. I was happy to oblige! I had a good feeling from the start of this painting that it would turn out nicely.
It's on its way to Boston, as a gift to my friends girlfriend, Julia, the subject of the painting. it's water mixable oils, 24 x 36 on canvas.

street arts versus school arts
what do you think is better, to be a self taught artist or a schooled artist?
the self taught artist has way more capacity to be creative than the schooled artist. but, the street learned artist needs to have alot more talent than the schooled. the schooled artist is taught how to market their cookie cutter ideas...
