Yeah ... My AA Buddy (Apache Artist) friend Pascal Casey is trying to pull together an Arts N Crafts sell this Friday 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at American Indian Health Project where he works: 1535 E. Shaw Ave. between Milbrook and 7th St.
If interested, it's free, bring your own table, arrive for set up inside at 9:00 am, and donate one Arts n Crafts piece to benefit the children he works with! This would be good for those who have inexpensive things to sell, ie. arts n crafts, cards, small prints,…

It's been a great show, over 1000 visitors, so far. With the holiday coming up this week, we wanted to remind everyone who hasn't come down yet that while the show will hang through this Wednesday,
today is the last Saturday to see it.
Come on down.
We're open from 10am till 3pm today.
In addition to the Nude Show, it's a work day in the shop portion of the studio AND we have our new member's gallery in the back, quickly filling up with new artists and their work. If you'…

I am very excited to be chosen to participate in a group show at Gallery 825 in Los Angeles. The show focuses on emerging artists in the Southern California area, and was juried by LA Times critic, David Pagel. My video, "Tortilla Burning" was chosen out of about 1000 entries to play throughout the month at the gallery and at a special screening, as well, at the National Center for the Preservation of Democracy.
The gallery also chose a few other video artists, and they don't have enough equipm…

Greetings to all of our dear member artists and arts enthusiasts. I know I have been kind of incognito lately, dropping in and out quite quickly... Well, I have to be honest that I was working on a pet project of mine; because I vowed to relaunch it already and take it off my back for a while.
Well that pet project is called

someplace I've got a little bit of video footage of the Metropolitan Museum from 1995 when I volunteered there for the Laser exhibit. I know I have footage from the rooftop of the building looking around the downtown area after a rain and the sun came out, I'm wondering if I got any footage of the basement and all the storage down there I think I did. If I can find it I should edit it and post it to share if there is an interest.

It's been quite a year for me as an artist. Goals set and met and reset, shows hung, pieces completed, my portfolio finally in a book... and the list goes on. Hanging Nudes in November was a great experience... so much wonderful art to work with, and a great large space. This was my 2nd year hanging the show... hopefully I'll keep doing it. I also participated in a lot of shows this year. Quady, my solo show at La Luna Loca, the Pink show, Artists of the Studio at Chris', Sculpture by the Sea in…
