We live and work in a beautiful, rustic place called the Squaw Valley Herb Gardens. A fixer-upper in 1984 ~ 25 years later it’s blossomed into a sweet weave of 'art and agriculture'. Soak in a breathtaking view of the Sierra. Breath in aromatherapy and refresh your heart in landscapes filled with hundreds of herbs, flowers and lavender hillside. Enjoy demonstrations on recipes and remedies with fascinating history and folklore. Taste delicious flavors. Find organic plants in our seasonal nursery for your garden. Shop our gift shop filled with delights.
How to visit? NEW this season are 'Saturday & Sunday Tours with Lunch' - March through June. Individuals may book a tour almost anytime by advance arrangement. Groups may book dates and times that suit. Guests find it a memorable stop on the way to Kings Canyon & Sequoia National Parks.
Wreath-Making Workshops are offered for groups of 4-9 who book their own time throughout the season. Refresh your senses. Make a date! We hope you visit soon.
Hi Rosemary! it's been too long. hope things are well with you guys. I'm openning for the woodward park shakespeare fest on Sept 11 at 7... if you haven't seen Hamlet yet this year come down and check it out... its a great time and bring a picnic - I'll hang out with you guys after the set and watch the play!
I just visited your website again.... I didn't realize that you are just 30 miles away... It would be really great if you could post your tour events here... I think that people who are looking for things to do would be enticed to visit you as your tour offerings provide whats unique to the Valley.
This online community connects you to us... What's great about blogging or posting your photos is that we get to vicariously live it for a moment (and also wet our appetite for the outdoors)... so when the time comes that we visit, it wouldn't feel like walking in a stranger's paradise, but would be more at home.... you dig... :)
