We live and work in a beautiful, rustic place called the Squaw Valley Herb Gardens. Established in 1984 in the eastern foothills near Fresno, our canvas of five acres has blossomed into a weave of 'art and agriculture'. With a spectacular view of the Sierra there's a lavender field and hillsides, creek, terraced vegetable gardens, and herb gardens surrounding our home and studio. Breathe in nature's aromas. Refresh your heart in landscapes filled with hundreds of herbs and flowers. On tours we guide you through our gardens, share history of the plants and demonstrate their recipes and remedies. Taste delicious teas and hors'doeuvres. Find herb plants in our seasonal nursery. Our gift shop features what we grow and make along with items from our cooperative projects from Bali.
We offer Garden Tours, Culinary Tours, Wreath-Making, and Lavender Workshops. Private group visits are our specialty. Check our website for events you can join individually. All visit by advance arrangement.
