I love making art, Looking for the beautiful in our world and in the faces of people. I try to capture a glimpse of the beauty I see in the different media that I use. A portrait to me is more than a visual likeness of a person, it is a visual poem about that individual.

Arts Specialty:

Watercolorist, and portrait painter. I like to do mixed media portraits of people incorporaiting images of their writng, drawings, copys of photographs and other items important to that person.

I have work in the following media.

In painting and drawing: Watercolor,gauche, acrylic, oils, collage, pastels, ink, prismacolor pencils, conte crayon and charcoal.

Printmaking: dry point, intaglio, mezzotint, aquatint, sugarlift and silkscreen.

I am now experimenting with computer graphics and photographs.
