The artists I consider great are the ones who have contributed to the way the world is seen through their personal vision. The images I create reflect my interest in imagination, culture, and communication. I am intrigued by things that can be thought or experienced, but not necessarily seen. Images of fantasy, dream imagery, spiritual and folkloric themes, and visualizing music are recurring themes in my work. My interest in science, philosophy, and nature is strong. Animals, the environment, and the interrelationship of all things are important sources of ideas for me.

Hey Jon, It was good to finally meet the man on the ladder! Whenever I install, I walk around with nails in my pockets for days...Great photos.
I will try to make it up Sept 12th.
Saw the Culmination for the San Francisco Mime Co. at CSUFresno this afternoon. You make a great villian. I took pictures but many are blury as no tripod. I'll bring them by the gallery.
Thanks, Jon! The May 7 Art Hop is shaping up to be a huge huge evening. So many people I want to come to my show are in their own shows . . . so I'll aim to get over to Chris' after 8 pm.
Jon, Will there be another opportunity to see Tales from Ovid performed again? I'll go see the 2-D exhibit in the prez gallery, but what I really hope for is to catch that performance sometime in the future. Will the dance dept do it again or will you be posting a video of it? I've heard nothing but rave reviews and I'm so sorry I missed it. Please keep me posted of its return. Juliana
