About:
Years ago I had a band named Waddama that we grew for 5 years. I gave up performance after my first son was born... but never gave up the music. Now 4 years later I'm getting back into it, hoping to develop it into part of my career. I'm looking forward to meeting other musicians of the same mind.
Arts Specialty:

Classroom presentations on ecology/environment through music and story.

Jeremy... thanks for getting back to me. However, I already filled the bill with three singer-songwriters. Darn. I accepted the first three that responded to me. I may do this again in the Fall. I will keep you in mind. Thanks....

My name is Lisa Vincent. I am familiar with your music. I am also a musician, singer-songwriter, although I haven't actually gigged in a while. A few years back Waddama was featured on a CD I produced for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Perhaps you recall this?I still am very involved in music around Fresno... this is why I am contacting you.

I am a volunteer at the Downtown Community Arts Collective, an art gallery, non-profit in Fresno. The DCAC is on the Art Hop circuit, but also provides creative workshops for at risk youth.

In July, the Art Hop theme is "Music as Muse - Art Inspired by Music". On July 2nd, resident artists and some youth will be featured - all art that is inspired by music. During this show, I have instrumentalists performing.

However, in addition to this event, I am coordinating a concert later in month. The theme of this will be "Songwriting as Art", and will be a songwriters-in-the round type of deal. It will also be a benefit show for the DCAC.

I was hoping that you might want to be on the bill for this show. My intent is to really promote songwriting. I have media contacts and am hoping to get a lot of publicity. Your style and music is so excellent... I'd would really like to showcase your stuff.

It will be held at the DCAC studios, which is a really creative place and great environment for such a show. It will be an intimate setting. The show will be a fundraiser/benefit, with money being raised going to providing providing the youth with more opportunities for workshops. Because of this, we cannot pay our performers. However, you would receive mention in all the publicity, and, on the night of the event - free food and wine!

Please let me know if you would be willing to participate. There are two dates available at this point for the show... Saturday, July 18th (preferable), or Saturday, July 25th.

I look forward to hearing back from you.

Thanks, the move did go well... no bumps in the road so to speak. And yes, I am now a northsider and I am reminded of it every time I see my neighbor across the street pull in to his driveway with a big "YES ON 8" sticker smack in the middle of his bumper. Give me a few years and I'll have a big "Gingrich in '12" sign in my yard (absolutely kidding of coarse). I know you are probably very busy these days, but I would love to have you sit in with "DB" sometime. Give me a call and we can talk about it. I trust everything is good with you? let me know whats goin' on.
