I have always loved drawing, painting, and sculpting. However, do not take that to mean that I was some sort of prodigy. On the contrary, I drew with crayons on walls, painted with food, and carved every soap bar in the house. While this did not make me a popular child-artist, it did prompt my parents to invest with REAL tools of the arts. I have been exploring life through these tools ever since. I have spent years studying art both in traditional academic institutions and out. And, though I treasure my times in study, I have found far more growth in my garage simply practicing the craft.

I think your sketches are remarkable. With regard to your last sentence...in the book Art and Fear there is an illustration that points to practicing, exploring and practicing, practicing practicing (don't we all :) ).
