I am an artist and a first generation American. My family emigrated from beautiful Lucca, Italy, near Firenze (Florence, Italy), where magnificent art has flourished through centuries. My father, grandmother, and great grandfather were artists. At an early age, I demonstrated that I had an innate ability to create impressive works of art. Under the tutelage and influence of my artist father, Eduardo Angelo Arrigoni, I gained insight into Italian painting style and techniques, and developed a compelling need to study the styles of the “old masters” in European art museums—eventually replicating pieces of their work. I continue to research and study of methods and materials, past and present, which contribute to my unique style of painting. I create both traditional and contemporary work.
