I am a writer. I live to feel. At one time in my life I could not even listen to music, it made me feel too much. I did not want to feel, remember or partake in any part of my past. Now, I do. I want to teach, inspire, reach and retire. Retire to a live a life of peace that comes from many years of trial and error. The book I am writing, Motel Drive, is a tribute to my own survival and the survival of my four children.

Tonight is one of those memorable times. I have been asked to photograph the Republican Party Dinner.
I will meet some amazing people. I am taking my mother with me, she is a Republican. I am not. I do not claim a party, only because I do not have the knowledge to say either way.
