Profile Information

About:: I am a former dance teacher and choreographer, born and raised in Fresno. I have recently opened Jia Salon and Spa in Northeast Fresno. While this may seem an unlikely art venue, what makes Jia different is that the walls are covered with art provided by local artists. Each piece placed in my salon is available for purchase and all clients walking through the door are made aware of this as well as the need to support the arts in our community.

I also exhibit art in the form of local clothing and jewelry makers' work as well as inviting local musicians and poets to perform at Jia for events.

I would be very interested in hosting for Art Hop and/or other artistic events. Please let me know if you have ideas or a need for a venue.
