Hi!Thats great you are in education, yay...thanks for the support! Thats awesome! I love working with the kids...Yes, I have students who have faciltators with them to help them communicate with their electronic machine. They dont use FC at school all day, so I have been letting them choose colors etc for their projects, then they get to tell everyone about it..they designed posters and a medal, think this last one may be free draw, about what they learned and then I love hearing what they are trying to get across with their project. We also do yoga, drama, so they are working on a set design, such fun! cannot believe Im getting paid, seriously really fun. These kids haven't really had any instruction in art I found out, and they are really doing well! The first class, one student said this was his favorite, I was so happy..lol This last class went well, and our very last class is this tuesday. Im hoping to get their work matted so it will be hanging up when they walk in,They also are setting me up to teach art this summer (so I can spread some art goodness around! lol), I am really excited about it. My family was not very supportive of me majoring in art years ago after high school and I am so sorry I listened to them, it was really tough but I recently decided to just go for it, I would love to do what Im doing, and teach special needs kids, or kids with learning disorders..etc. along with reg. ed... I feel like an art therapist lol! Im so lucky that I got this opportunity, though, and yes, it will be great for my resume...The winter olympic posters were great and I labeled them so its cool to see the different ones from each year. The adults enjoyed that too so that was cool~wish me luck tuesday, hope they have fun:)
