Fresno Met Museum Reopening

Before it's closing in January 2010, The Fresno Metropolitan Museum of Art and Science was a Smithsonian Institution Affiliate and American Association of Museums accredited museum located in downtown Fresno, California. The Museum was established in 1984 and was the largest museum between San Francisco and Los Angeles. “The Met” was housed in the historic 1922 Fresno Bee Building. After undergoing a major renovation which began in August 2005, the Met celebrated its grand reopening in Novemeber 2008 with several days of special events. Cost overruns on the renovation and the depressed economy greeting its reopening led to its closure.

Brad,
Your presentation at the MET was fabulous! I cannot believe we humans have been here for only "20 seconds" and we have managed to toally screw up an Earth that took 23 hours and 40 seconds to create! What an insightful way to describe the history of the Earth!
