IN THE MOOD, meaning...the art zone. Just wanted to clarify that. I am trying to be more aware of my words, and how I use them. Even in the food world. Lol.

Wow Audrey, that salad sounds amazing. I want some!
You do look good, last time I saw you, I could really see the difference.
Good for you.
I hope my new diet will help me too!
I love veggies, and really, the best food is the natural and colorful ones. Though, I did grab a handful of black licorece(spelled wrong) down at the studio today. It was really good, and puts me in the mood.
I am sure that red wine could stain the teeth. I never thought of that. Hmmmmm. I just don't like the white wine as much though. Yucko.

Red wine diet sounds interesting, but I have switched to white because red stains my teeth no matter how often I brush! Maybe I just drank too much! We do eat alot of garlic and olive oil in my family, but have cut down on the pasta, bread and potatoes and flour tortillas. Whole grain is best, but even that in moderation. Many times I make a meat like tri tip or chicken breast and stir fry veggies (mostly brocolli) or a big salad with olive oil, vinegar , and sometimes feta cheese, artichoke hearts, and stuffed olives, onions etc, and that's all, very quick and easy for Ray and I. When I cook for my son and grand-daughter I add more things that they will eat, like macaroni and cheese, potatoes, rice etc. Ray and I have switched from eating ice cream almost every night, to sugar free pudding--I have lost alot of weight being on a healthier diet, of course taking care of a toddler has added alot of excercise too!

I accidently posted this in the writer's group so I am re-posting it.

Tonight we celebrated my mother's 73rd birthday. We had bbq chicken, salad, beans and bread. The dinner was very good and we topped it off with a delicious lemon cake. Happy Birthday Mom!

I hope she loved her gift the kids and I gave her. Geez, I have know that woman all of my life! That is a good thing. xo

Today I had the weirdest craving for hot sourdough french bread and butter.
It is strange the way food cravings can come on suddenly. I was sitting in the doc. office waiting to be seen, so of course, getting it was not an option. But it is just interesting to me how we can have such cravings.
Does anyone else have these types of cravings, just out of no where.

Olive oil and garlic, not fried foods. And now I am going to start the red wine diet. Yes!

Oh, by the way, does anyone want to go to a potluck at Margaret Hudson's next Monday. It is always so fun!

I made home made chili for lunch. YUM!!!!! I am eating again because of stress and emotional upset. I need to stop and begin eating to live not living to eat.
