He made something horrible recently with pickles and shredded cheese - which was not a success - but I like that he wants to put colors and textures together in interesting ways and see what it tastes like. What a little artist he is!

I know that is not a great excuse, but, I spelled things wrong, just as much as I cook wrong. Like, "on tip" I meant "on top" and "fir desert" I meant "for desert". OMG, that is so silly of me. But I guess I am inventing new dishes in more ways then one! Hehe.

Thanks for those great stories Liesl and Melanie. They are great! It is nice to know I am not the only one that is learning and making up dishes.

I just watched my son make up a dish, tangerines, hardboiled eggs and yogurt. I knew it looked gross, but he seemed to be into it, so I did not say anything. He is 8. Well, he tasted it and sound, Ewwwwwwwwwww!
I was so glad at that one!

So so funny!
