I get that stuff at Whole Foods. My daughter and her boyfriend are total vegans, so when they visit it's a major challenge for us! And we used to be vegetarian, for most of our lives, but going vegan is really a whole different thing, which I do respect. Maybe order those things online? My hobby is east Indian cuisine and the little groceries are a good place to find fresh unsweetened coconut and interesting oils, etc.

I must confess, sometimes, on the pancakes, I use Krusty's pancake mix and add bagged sweetened coconut, and sprinkle brown sugar, almost as good. Sometimes her ingredients are a challenge to find in town (Visalia) , so I would love to know if you have any local haunts that carry things, like coconut oil. agave necture, brown rice syrup. I may just have to take an outing to fresno a few times a month for supplies, to Fresno. I would love to have a group reciept tasting, or some get together would be fun! Anyone else have any ideas?

Yes, they are great and almost healthy, I love Heidi Swansons website. Also love her coconut pancakes! Give them a try!
