Arts and Cultural Information in Fresno City and County

The San Joaquin Valley BluePrint process is drawing to a head. Our communities are apprehensive about density goals to move from 13 people per acre to 18-31. Adapting to this new living pattern requires public education about housing choices that meet and exceed target densities. The exhibit will focus on these urban housing choices as Fresno grows up.

An installation will demonstrate a space that is conducive of healthy living for formerly homeless. The design rethinks modern standards of habitation. Visitors will experience the full scale unit design with maximized efficiency creating a myriad of benefits to society, industry, and the economy. CSUF Anthropology Dept. will gather input to be used in the re-design of the unit to be built as a Housing First project.

Join AIA San Joaquin, Fresno Housing Authority and CSUF Anthropology Department. for a collaborative process.
