Call to Artists: The Contemporary ~ Contemporaneo Artist Residency

The Fresno Art Museum is looking for artists ages 21-35 from the Central Valley to participate in an artist-in-residence program from September 3rd to September 25th. Deadline for application is July 10th, 2009. One local artist will be creating works alongside one artist from Oaxaca, Mexico. This is a unique opportunity that is certain to enrich the lives of the artists and the community!

The Contemporary ~ Contemporaneo Artist Residency includes the following:

* Artist supplies and materials
* 1 week residency at Stonehouse Residency for the Contemporary Arts
* Cumulitive exhibition in Jacquelin Pilar Contemporary Gallery

The Contemporáneo -Contemporáneo artist in residence program is done in collaboration with the Museo de los Pintores Oaxaqueños (MUPO) in Oaxaca, Mexico. The Mexican artists that participate from the MUPO are in this age group owing to their art training tradition, so we match the ages appropriately.; ▶ Reply to This
