The Ballad Of Chet (On The Eve Of His Bliss) performs March 4-12. Rehearsals will begin in early January.

What is The Ballad Of Chet (On The Eve Of His Bliss) about?

Chet, a hapless accountant for a Vegas mob boss, steals fifty-thousand dollars in an attempt to win the affections of his ex-wife, Cheryl. He compounds his problem by gambling away the money and is forced to flee for his life. Chased by two hit men (with a past) and the devil (who fancies himself a lounge singer), Chet tries to correct what was clearly a very bad idea. With a jazz/blues infused score by Alana Shapazian, The Ballad Of Chet (On The Eve Of His Bliss) is a romantic comedy that literally takes you to hell and back.

Available Roles:

Chet, an accountant
Big Piper, a bartender/lounge singer (Singing/dancing role)
Bonny, a sexy waitress (Singing/dancing role)
Cheryl, Chet’s ex-wife and an ex-stripper
Ricky, a hit man
Terry, another hit man
Showgirls (3 or 4) (singing/dancing roles)
